Shamrock Showcase

The Shamrock Festival hosts an annual Recruiting Showcase on the Friday night before the tournament on up to 9 courts in the Berglund Center Special Events Center.  The 2024 Showcase is Friday March 15th from 6:30-8:30pm. Our Showcase provides an opportunity for college coaches to see as many athletes as possible in one location. The cost of the Showcase is $55 and all participants will receive a Showcase t-shirt when they check-in.

The List of Accepted Players for the 2024 Showcase will be updated every couple of days leading up to Showcase.

Format

The format consists of individual skill/drill work with an emphasis on team drills and lots of controlled PLAY facilitated by individual court coaches who will help keep everything on schedule.   We want the college coaches to be able to see the players play as much as possible as that is the feedback the coaches have provided to us in years past about this recruiting opportunity.  Each college coach in attendance receives a free electronic recruiting guide with all the detailed individual player information that you input online when you register for the Shamrock Recruiting Showcase.

Showcase is open to all volleyball players in grades 8-12, regardless of whether the player's team is competing in the tournament.

Details

There will be a single Showcase Session from 6:30-8:30pm this year.  We send e-mail invitations to over 300 college coaches but we also encourage you to invite college coaches to attend if you want them to see you at the Showcase and/or throughout the weekend.  A list of the colleges who have coaches pre-registered to recruit at Shamrock will be posted on the College Coaches page as the tournament approaches and we will continue to update it as more coaches sign-up. All college coaches who pre-register will receive free electronic Recruiting Guides with detailed player info but no player contact info will ever be posted online. Participants may withdraw from Showcase for any reason and receive a $40 refund up until March 6th. After 3/6, no refunds will be given but you may still pick-up your Showcase Shirt at the Berglund Center.
