Thanks to everyone for coming to Shamrock this year and CONGRATS to Lake Norman 17 Black (18’s Division Champs), USPAV 16L (16’s Division Champs), and CSVB 14 Open (14’s Division Champs). Final Standings for all teams will be posted later this week.

• The schedule for Wave One of the tournament has been posted on the results page. Check back throughout the tournament for updated scores.
• Addresses for all the Shamrock Festival playing locations are now available. Directions will also be available in the tournament program and on the website at the bottom of each of the results pages.
• The Shamrock Festival is partnering with Prodigy Launch Sports to offer recruiting video services at Shamrock. March 4, 2013 -

• The first wave pools will be posted on the Results Page on Wednesday evening. We do not use AES for scheduling as all schedules/results are posted right on the Shamrock website during the tournament in real time. We will make every effort to respond to e-mails as quickly as we can, but the tournament staff is extremely busy with tournament preparations this week so before you e-mail your questions, please check the tournament website (particularly the FAQ page) for answers.
• The schedule for Friday night has been posted. The schedule contains information about the Showcase, Kid's Clinic, Team Check-In, College Coaches and more.

All approved Showcase participants have been assigned to their session. Please go to the Approved Showcase Participants page for the session and position assignments.

March 2, 2013 -

Registration for Showcase is now closed. The final list of accepted players with session times will be posted on Sunday 3/3 or Monday 3/4. Anyone who sent a check but is not accepted will be placed on the waiting list and will only be notified if a spot opens up for them. Otherwise, your checks will be shred so no refunds will be needed.

January 28, 2013 -

We are hosting an Instructional Kids's Clinic for boys and girls age 6-12 on Friday, March 8, 2013 from 6:00-7:30pm. The clinic will be held at the Roanoke Civic Center as part of our Friday Night pre-tournament festivities and we will have 3 courts available so we can separate kids by age and ability as needed. The cost of the clinic is only $25 and all participants will receive a gift at the end of the clinic. To reserve your spot, please click HERE and fill in the brief online registration form so we know how many kids to expect. • A preliminary list of accepted Showcase participants is now posted online. This list will be updated daily as additional Showcase participants are accepted until we are full. We still have room for lots more athletes so please register today if you are interested. Positions and sessions for the accepted participants will be assigned and posted in a few weeks.

At the request of various club directors, registration will open up on AES this Thursday evening (instead of at midnight) to facilitate Thursday night registration and Friday mailing for anyone interested. As an FYI, the updated Housing Request Form will be posted to the Hotel Info page as soon as we finalize room rates with a couple of final hotels.

November 1, 2012 -

Registration opens in AES on Friday November 23. This is not a Stay and Play event but we will assist you in securing hotel rooms at the best area hotels once your teams are accepted. There are no admission fees or parking fees at any of our tournament playing locations. The Shamrock Recruiting Showcase registration will open in December 10th.

We are pleased to release our dates for the 2013 Shamrock Festival which are March 9-10, 2013. Registration will open in AES in late November like in previous years. More details to come so check back soon. You can also join the Shamrock Festival Facebook page to receive updates there as well.

Welcome to the official website of the annual Shamrock Festival volleyball tournament. Here you will find all of the information you need to ensure that your team and its fans enjoy our tournament. As always, the tournament will be held in the Roanoke Valley for teams in the 14, 16, and 18 & under age divisions with teams in the 13, 15, and 17 & under age divisions all encouraged to play-up in the higher age groups. The 2012 Shamrock Festival saw 228 teams competing from VA, NC, PA, MD, TN, SC, & WV and included teams from 7 different USAV regions. Historically, Shamrock has attracted teams from as far north as NY & NJ and as far south as GA & FL. In addition, we attract dozens of college coaches from all over the East Coast each year click HERE for a list of schools who recruited at Shamrock in 2012. The Shamrock Festival is one of the largest nationally-sanctioned USAV tournament and one of the premier volleyball events for juniors on the East Coast. Follow all of the tournament action on this website with live scoring updates every hour throughout the tournament. Registration typically opens around 12/1 and is handled through AES. Teams will be accepted based on the date of registration and receipt of payment. You are strongly encouraged to register and mail your payment early as the tournament typically fills up in a matter of days. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us anytime.
